Hand Selected Skis 

World Cycle & XC Ski is excited to offer a new service to our Nordic community. We know Idaho, we know where you ski. We want to help you get the fastest most functional skis fit for you.

We are now taking orders for next year's skis. Fill in the form, email it to us or drop it off at the store by April 24th. Once we have your information, we will hand select your skis at the Salomon factory. 

When skiing in Idaho areas like Bogus, McCall, and Sun Valley, 80% of your ski days can be covered with a cold base, cold grind. This would be a "go to" ski during a normal winter. For a 2nd pair a Universal base with a warmer grind would satisfy the other conditions we have here. Both skis can be fine tuned with hand structure depending on the day. This is our recommendation for the Idaho 2 pair fleet. 

We have also partnered with Caldwell Sport to provide what we believe is access to the best, most knowledgeable ski grind capabilities in the country. To get the most from this ski, the grind (finish of the base layer) should match the conditions. We will begin our stone grind services starting in August. 

Your fit is guaranteed! If these aren't the fastest/best for you, we will trade for another pair. No fine print, we want you happy.
